FM School of Pop Culture is a division of Funkie Monkies productions, the company is headed by A-list Mandarin Pop Music producer/songwriter Huang Yun Ren( 黄韵仁 ) and award winning lyricist Xiaohan( 小寒 ). We have a team of talent new generation songwriter/musicians and we are currently looking to train up the next generation of potential songwriter/musicians with our expertise to guide them into the exciting mandarin pop music industry!

Eric Ng ( 黄韵仁 )
Huang Yun Ren has written, produced/arranged for countless numbers of top artiste in Asia, including Stefanie Sun Yanzi, Sandy Lam, A-Mei etc.
Among his works are “Deep” (Wu Di Dong) by Tanya chua, “For my own good” (Wei Wo Hao) by Fish Leong, “A-class entertainment” (A Ji Yu Le) by A-Mei, all of which are major radio hits. |

Xiaohan ( 小寒 )
Xiaohan has been a strong presence in regional mandarin pop lyrics scene since 1998. Among her works are “Paper plane” (Zhi Fei Ji) by Sandy Lam, “My love” (Wo De Ai) by Stefanie Sun and “Deep” (Wu Di Dong) by Tanya Chua. She has won twice in The Best Lyrics award in the Singapore Hit awards. |

Jim Lim ( 林 倛 玉 )
Jim Lim came from the popular local group Dreamz Fm. Not only a singer, he is a renowed songwriter and producer. Among his works are “My love” (Wo De Ai) by Stefanie Sun, “Acceptance” (Jie Shou) by Fish Leong and “Not Worth it” (Bu Zhi De) by Dreamz Fm. |

Tang YuXuan (唐玉璇)
Tang YuXuan is a very popular and experienced vocal coach who has been teaching singing since 2000. She has a strong presence in the mandarin music pub scene since1994.
Yuxuan has also dabbled in the singing and songwriting scene. She did backup vocals for several stars including Jeff Chang and Andy Lau, and has been a part time music therapist assistant for children since 2004. Among her works are “Soap” (Fei Zao) and “Good to be Real” (Ren zhen Jiu Hao) by Cass Phang and I See ” (Kan Jian) by Joi Chua. |

Danny Yeo (
杨君伟)
Danny has 15 years of rich experience in radio/tv, stage theatre, writing and teaching. In 2000, he was nominated "Top 20 Male Artistes" in Star Awards and won Golden Mike Awards’ "Most Creative DJ". He is a much sought-after event emcee and voice talent. His unique interactive facilitating style combines media skills and psychology theories.
Before lecturing in Speech Communication and Presentation Skills, Junwei was Creative and Music Director of UFM1003. Publications include: Youth Book "My Voice" (2004) and "Speaking in Volume" (2005), a collection of artiste interviews. |
